Welcome Volunteers
Welcome Volunteers are central to our visitor experience, welcoming visitors to the Visitor Centre and Abbey Church with warmth, a friendly smile and a listening ear.
Orchard Volunteers
A unique opportunity to volunteer in one of the largest commercial orchards in the North of England. Orchard Volunteers lead orchard tours and support with seasonal activities, including apple-picking.
Tour Volunteers
Tour Volunteers craft unforgettable experiences for our visitors, leading tours of the Abbey Church for individuals and groups with energy, knowledge and enthusiasm.
Event Volunteers
Ampleforth Abbey hosts a variety of events, including concerts, art exhibitions and sporting events. Event Volunteers help to ensure our events run smoothly, welcoming guests and offering helpful directions.
